Safe Cycling (Cratoni Helmet Give Away!)

Hellowwwwwwww everyone!

I used to be a cyclist and I love mountain biking a lot! I've got tons of bruises back then. It was extremely fun. Well, I stopped for personal reasons but that doesn't mean I hate cycling. This post is for the purpose of reminding cyclist out there about safe cycling. Yea, we've heard news of accidents during cycling and other unwanted stuffs as well.

You my friend have got to seriously protect not only yourself but also people who shares the same hobby as you do. Have you actually thought of the danger of cycling? Falling off a cliff, getting hit by a car or even getting robbed while cycling is something we would never imagine of.

Back when I was a cyclist, I was naive enough to be in a parking space alone setting up my bike and little did I know that was the day I was gonna get robbed. BUTTTTTT, let bygones be bygones. :)

Okay so first, always put on proper guards/equipments. Most importantly, helmet. If you're night riding, please put on some lightings on your helmet or your bike so others would notice you. (I'm giving out a brand new Cratoni helmet to a lucky reader!) Also make sure you have proper emergency set tools such as a hand pumps or whatever you think is necessary.

Second, always always always make sure that your bike is in good condition for a ride. Check out for loose bolts and nuts, gears, brakes, tyres and etc.

Third, always cycle in a group. Riding solo is fine but the more the merrier and you have backups. To scare wolves, you need wolves haha! Oh, remember to cycle in a line except when overtaking because it is safer and it looks cooler.

Fourth, obey traffic rules! Well I've seen some cyclists who think that they're the owner of traffic lights and roads. Bullshit my friend, bullshit. Cyclists were given priorities on the road but not for you to be the king of roads so cut the crap you childish nut buckets.

Fifth, stay connected to everyone in your cycling group. This is to avoid someone being abducted by aliens. Whenever a car is approaching, scream out loud to notify your cycling buddies of incoming cars to act cooler for drivers to see. Jokes jokes jokes.

Sixth, training. It is very common to get cramps but you can lower the chances of getting it by training your muscles often. If you have pain relieving spray, bring it along if you think you might need it.

As a cross country cyclists, listed above are the things I find very useful. If you find this useful, please share this out to remind your friends on safe cycling. If you have any additional info for me to add in or enquiries, just leave your comments in the comment section.

To promote safe cycling, I am giving out a Cratoni Helmet with built in backlights to one lucky reader! I'll send it to you wherever you are! You can check out Cratoni's other products on www.cratoni.com.
