A day at the beach with bruh bruhs!

How's it going people!

First, this blog is turning 3 months old in 10 days and I'm super excited. Second, a blog is a platform where you can treat it as a diary or a travelogue and more. Thus, you're able to share your moments with people around the world. At the same time, you could make a profit out of it! Don't expect too much in return though.

As for me, I do this because I love writing and sharing awesome stuffs or ideas to you. That includes awesome and random moments. I've been posting posts once or twice weekly and I think I'm doing well. Couldn't have done it without you, so thank you.

So me and the bruhs went to Layang-layangan beach in Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia. The environment is awesome there! The view, sand, sun and sea, perfecto'. Oh, just so you know, bruh/bruhs is like another term for bro/brothers commonly used as a swag term nowadays. So, if you're thinking it's a typo, it's not. :)

How can you not fall for this?

It's not the best beach in Malaysia but for what Labuan can offer, this is epic. It's only 10 minutes drive from Labuan town. I was born and raised in Labuan but living in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. My brothers are all staying in Labuan. I only visit them like once in a month or two. 

The real purpose of going to the beach was for us to get cinematic shots for our upcoming Youtube videos. So stay tuned for our upcoming videos yea. If you haven't subscribe to my Youtube channel, do it now. Haha! Oh, here's Samuel's Youtube Channel.

Labuan Island (Places to visit in Labuan, Part 2)

Well hello there people!

Recently, my internet went bonkers on me so I owe you an apology for not posting the second part of this post sooner. If you haven't check out our first part of this post, here's the link to Labuan Island (Places to visit Part 1).

Also, if you're a party goer, yes I know that Labuan is some sort of a "mini Manila" but I will not be including any night life activities in Labuan into any of my posts. The reason is simple. I've tendered my resignation as a party animal years ago. Besides, I've got kids who view my blog so yea :)

Labuan is filled with historical heritage sites and on the previous post, I've only included 3 places which consists of the Labuan Bird Park, Labuan Beaches and Chimney Museum. In this post, me and my lil' brother Samuel went to 7 places. We basically covered everything.

After the Chimney Museum, we went to Damai Point. Also known as the "Peace Park". This park was the actual place where the Japanese surrendered their weapons during the Hiroshima bombings. All the Japanese soldiers admit defeat and there ended the second world war.

This place is amazingly relaxing and beautiful. Being located near to beaches made it better. There are shop lots next to the park where people would hangout in the evening and eat there while enjoying the sea breeze. Don't miss out the good food and drinks such as "Satays" and "ABC a.k.a Ais Batu Campur" while you're visiting.

After the Damai Point in Layang-Layangan, we went to the Labuan Museum located right in the centre of Labuan City. The history of Labuan Island is there, all of it. Entrance fee: Free.

There's also a marine museum in Labuan. Entrance is also free. It is located in the Sea Sport Complex. Right opposite the Sea Sport Complex, there's a clocktower  known as the Labuan Tower. At certain period of time, it will go ding-dong. 

OH! Not forgetting Pantai Point. As I've said, Labuan is an island. Thus, everywhere you go you'll see beaches. Pantai Point is the beach accessible to and from Sea Sport Complex. Here are some pictures!

There's also another War Memorial located near to Tiara Resort Labuan. It is a memorial site for those who perished to protect Labuan during the World War 2. When we went there, the sky was dark as it was about to rain. I somehow had eerie feelings but it was all good. 

Last but not least, if you're planning to go for a jog or just a walk in the park, Labuan's Botanical Garden is the place for you to be. Just so you know, it is open to public. Here are some pictures of it.

Well, that's it I suppose. Me and Samuel spent 3 days to go to these places and heck it was worth it. If ever you're going to Labuan and need more info, just drop us an email.

Labuan Island (Places to visit in Labuan, Part 1)

What's up people!

I was born and raised in this small Island "Labuan" which is also known as the pearl of the South China Sea. Yes yes yes, cheap alcohol, perfumes, cars, and chocolate is all you could think of now. Labuan is a duty free island so if you happen to be here, go bonkers on duty free items alright. Mind you, not everything here is cheap. Though cheap chocolates and alcohol beverages may be tempting, eating and staying in Labuan will not be as cheap as the chocolates or alcohol. Because lands in Labuan are scarce, no houses would be cheap here. 

However, I've been away from Labuan for quite sometime now. If you think Labuan is small and boring, I can't deny your statement but what I did on my visit back home this week might change your mind. Labuan is an island filled with historical landmarks and covered by beaches. Me and my brother Samuel circled the whole island just to show you "Places to visit in Labuan".

I know right! Sea, sun and sand! We drove along the 18 kilometres long stretch beach all the way from Layang-Layangan to Pohon Batu. We meddled with our GoPro Hero 3+ and attached it to the driver's window recording our drive along the beach. I'll be hooking up a video into my new Youtube channel soon a'ight.

Well that's just the beginning. We later went to the Labuan Bird Park and Chimney Museum located approximately 4 kilometres from Palm Beach Resort Labuan. Labuan Bird Park has been here for many years now and each visit makes me like it even more! It may not be the best but still, I like being here. The diversity of birds to see here is satisfying. Entry cost : RM3 per adult/children. Here are some pictures we took.

Next, Chimney Museum! It is located opposite of the Labuan Bird Park. It is only 30 seconds walk away. Chimney is a building structure that was built in the 80's and carries a British design. The purpose is still unknown. Some said it could be a light house or a ventilation shaft. 23,000 imported bricks from England were used to build this structure. 

The environment or view of the area during a sunny day is aesthetic. Entrance fee: Free! 

I'm gonna upload my first few Youtube videos soon, keep up with us ya. I'm seperating Labuan posts because I wouldn't want to put too much photos into one post as it may be data consuming or slow loading for my mobile readers.
